How Can BP Media Help My Business?
I want to talk a little bit about a question that came up from somebody asking about some of the services that BP Media Solutions provides. So in this case, this company has a Facebook person already, totally trusted, love the work they do, but they just want to know how we might be able to help them with content production so that they can share to the world that they’re more than just a name. They are a company with people and a living, breathing organization that will do great things.
It makes me think of a couple of things. First of all, yes, the answer is we can do all kinds of great stuff to improve your content, and I’m thinking about the videos that we can produce, and the content that we can produce off of those videos.
- So, the first answer for him is we would produce videos for you where you’re talking about your company.
- We would put those videos in the hands of your social media person so they can push it out on social media,
- We could also build you a YouTube channel, so all those videos have a place to live, and they would be searchable, and people would find them, and they would watch these videos, and they would learn about your company.
That content also is really fantastic for recruiting purposes. And it’s the second part of this question about content and what we can produce for you.
The Right Message
A big question I always ask, and this is so important in marketing, in fact, it might be the most important question in marketing. Who are you trying to reach? Well in this case, and in the case of some of our other clients, you’re doing two things at the same time, you are putting out a message for your next employees on a recruiting front, but your audience also is probably whoever your literal customers are. So in doing one, you’re really answering the call to the other. So if I’m out there saying, Hey, come to my hamburger stand because we have great hamburgers, and we have this amazing culture, and we want you to support us with your $10 purchase of a hamburger. The same messaging will attract better applicants the next time you have a job opening. So you are pushing that same message. Here’s our culture, here’s our look, here’s why you want to support us. That message also rings true with people in a recruiting situation too.
So the two work hand in hand, the messaging might be for one, but it’ll support the other, and we can help with content production. For instance, with one of our clients, we film three videos per month. So we either have them come to our location, or we go to them and we sit down and we knock out some videos, and then every month they know that there’s new content coming. We brainstorm what those topics are going to be, and then we go to work. And every single month that company has new, fresh content that is going out on social media and being added to their website, which by the way, new content on your website also equals SEO.
So there’s a lot of things we can do in content production, even if you have somebody already running your Facebook page, even if you already have a marketing department, and you just need that extra little boost on certain content to get your messaging out.
